Presidents Welcome – 2026/27 

 Welcome to our 116th Caroline Bay Carnival. 

As President of the Caroline Bay Association, it is a pleasure to be able to welcome you to our annual carnival, especially to any newcomers to our fantastic event. 
The year has rolled around quickly and once again we are proud to provide you with a large array of entertainment and activities for you to enjoy over the festive season. This couldn’t be achieved without the hard work and dedication from our volunteers, as well as the new and continued support of our many loyal sponsors. A big thank you to all – we really wouldn’t be here without you.  
This year’s Carnival will be held over a total of 16 days. 

 We will again be providing top class entertainers on the Soundshell for your enjoyment, with some returning artists along with some first timers to the carnival. We again have made a big effort to ensure there is a variety of music, to appeal to all audiences. We also thank Ashley Communications for their generous sponsorship of the Talent Quest. 
To bring us into 2027 we have a $30,000 fireworks display thanks to Pub Charity and our professional fireworks team. This is again a large display, as well as one of the biggest in New Zealand and shouldn’t be missed! 
Thanks to the Timaru District Council also, for their support each year. This is very much appreciated. 
So, on behalf of our Association I wish you all a very Merry Christmas, Best Wishes for the New Year and I look forward to seeing you all at the carnival.
